Getting Started, Use
Follow the safety instructions and the other information in this operation manual.
• Plug the countdown timer into a standard earthed mains socket (wall socket). The power LED
on the countdown timer lights up.
• Plug the consumer into the socket on the front of the countdown timer; make sure the plug is
pushed into the socket fully.
• If the consumer connected to the countdown timer has a power switch, switch it on (the
switch setting marked e.g., "ON" or "I").
• Repeatedly press the "ON/SET" button on the front of the countdown timer as many times as
needed until the LEDs display the desired switched-on period (15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes).
The socket on the front of the countdown timer is thereby switched on.
• After the set time has expired, the socket on the front of the countdown timer is switched off
and thereby the connected consumer.
In every case, during the fi nal minute of each 15-minute period, the LED blinks
slowly, in the last 20 seconds quickly.
Example:
You set the timer for 30 minutes; the LED "30" lights up; the countdown starts auto-
matically.
After 14 minutes (with 16 minutes remaining), the LED "30" starts to blink. After one
minute (with 15 minutes remaining), the "30" LED goes out and the "15" LED lights
up.
After another 14 minutes (with 1 minute remaining), the LED "15" starts to blink.
After the fi nal minute has expired, the LED "15" goes out and the consumer con-
nected to the countdown timer socket is switched off.
The timer count has fi nished.
• If you press the "ON/SET" button during the timer countdown (multiple times if needed), the
timer is reset and starts again with the switched-on period (15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes) just set.
• You can end the timer count early, and turn off the connected consumer, by briefl y pressing
the "OFF" button.
