Installation
Please pay attention to the information in the chapter "Preparations for Installation".
• Fasten the mounting bracket for the LED spotlight using at least two screws in a suitable loca-
tion on the wall.
For easier installation, the mounting bracket can be removed from the LED spotlight.
When drilling the mounting holes or screwing into place, ensure that no existing cables or pipes
are damaged!
• The ideal installation height is between 2.5 and 3m, depending where it is installed and the
ambient conditions (position of the area to be lit).
• Connect the mains cable to the mains voltage (brown cable = L, blue cable = N, green/yellow
cable = PE/earth).
The earth protection cable must be connected!
Do not install the LED spotlight, if the LED spotlight is replacing an existing light and
there is no protective earth cable available. First, draw a new mains cable.
Where the protective earth is not connected, a fault with the mains voltage might
result in the metal housing of the LED spotlight becoming live. There is a risk of a
life-threatening electric shock!
Connection is to be made, for example, via a suitable mains socket. A suitable IP44 mains plug
can also be installed on the end of the cable.
Always ensure that the socket and the mains plug are suitable for outdoor applications.
• Secure the LED spotlight in the installation location (e.g. screw to the separately fastened
mounting bracket).
Make entirely sure that the cable gland and the cable of the LED spotlight are point-
ed downwards.
Adjust the LED spotlight's angle so it illuminates the desired area.
Maintenance and Care
• The LED spotlight does not require maintenance. You should occasionally clean dust and dirt
off the glass plate on the light, to ensure proper functioning.
• Before cleaning, switch off the LED spotlight or disconnect it from the mains voltage. Let it cool
down sufficiently.
• The exterior of the LED spotlight should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Where it
becomes very dirty, use a cloth which is slightly moistened with lukewarm water.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing
(discolouring) or impair operation.
Do not press too hard on the housing or the glass plate, as scratches might appear.
Never spray water e.g. with a garden hose or a high-pressure cleaner, at the LED
spotlight!
Disposal
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
