Intended Use
The wall-mounted outdoor lamp is intended to illuminate entrances, driveways, etc. The wall-
mounted outdoor lamp may be installed in outdoor areas (taking into account the installation
location!).
Any other use than that described above may damage the product. Moreover, this may give rise
to hazards such as short-circuiting, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modi-
fied or converted!
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!

Explanation of Symbols
A lightning symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of an electric
shock.
This symbol indicates specific risks associated with handling, function or use.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
The product is suitable for direct installation on normal flammable surfaces.
IP54 The product is suitable for use outdoors.
Observe the operating instructions!
Safety Instructions
Please read all of the operating instructions before using the product for the
first time; they contain important information about its correct operation.
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! Liability for any and all consequential damage is
excluded!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The warranty
will be null and void in such cases.
a) In general
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible
because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The design of the product complies with protection class I, the protective earth con-
ductor must be connected.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous play-
things for children.
• Any maintenance or repair work must only be carried out by authorised personnel.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the employer's
liability insurance association for electrical systems and operating facilities are to
be observed!
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this instruction manual, please
contact our technical support centre or consult a professional.

Getting started
• Without fail, pay attention to the correct mounting position for the LED floodlight; only mount it
with the PIR motion detector pointing downwards.
• Only install the LED floodlight on a stable surface. Use screws and plugs that are suitable for
the surface. Only use the LED floodlight when it has been securely mounted.
• The LED floodlight must be installed and used out of the reach of children.
• The LED floodlight must be protected on the sub-distribution board by a 10/16A fuse. An earth
leakage circuit breaker must be installed before this (FI protective switch).
• The LED floodlight must be disconnected from the power supply during installation. It is not
sufficient to just turn off at the light switch!
Turn the power off and ensure that all the poles are not carrying a current by removing the
electric circuit's fuse, or switching off at the circuit breaker. Secure it against an unauthorised
re-start, e.g. with a danger sign. In addition, switch off the associated earth leakage circuit
breaker.
• Check that the mains cable is free of current e.g. with an appropriate tester.
b) Operation
• The product is not a toy. Keep devices that operate on the mains voltage out of the
reach of children! Therefore, be especially careful when children are around.
Use the product where it is out of the reach of children.
• The product may be used outdoors and indoors.
For use outside, make sure that the product is mounted so that the PIR is situated
at the bottom.
Although the product is suitable for use outdoors (IP54, splash proof), it must never
be operated in or under water!
• The product may only be operated on the mains voltage (see section „Technical
data").
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or
heavy mechanical stress.
Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
drops, even from a low height.
• Do not use this product in rooms or under adverse ambient conditions where com-
bustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Attention, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Never cover the product when it is in use.
• Check the product for damage before each use!
If you find any damage, you must not use the product!
If you detect any damage while the product is in use, do not touch the product, there
is a danger of an electric shock!
Disconnect all poles of the light from the power supply (e.g. switch off at the cor-
responding circuit breaker or remove the fuse and, additionally, switch of at the
corresponding earth leakage circuit breaker).
Afterwards, do no use the product anymore, it must be disposed of in an environ-
mentally friendly way.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage,
- the product does not function or does not function properly (e.g, a burning smell,
flickering)
- the product was transported or stored under unfavourable conditions.
Observe the safety instructions!
The product may only be installed by a qualified technician (e. g. electrician)
who is familiar with the relevant regulations (e.g. VDE, German electrical
wiring regulations)!
Improper work, carried out on the mains voltage, endangers not only your own
life but also the life of others!
If you do not have the expertise required for the installation, do not install it
yourself but ask a qualified technician.
If attention is not paid to the mounting position, water may penetrate the lamp, dan-
ger of a fatal electric shock!
