Intended use of the Current Clamp F-100:
Measurement (by Hall-effect sensor) and display of alternating cur-
rents from 0.01 A (=10mA) to 600 Arms max.
The instrument may not be operated when opened, with battery
compartment open, or with battery compartment missing.
Measurement in damp areas, outdoors, or in unfavourable environ-
mental conditions, is not permitted. Unfavourable ambient conditi-
ons include:
- wetness or excessive humidity,
- dust and combustible gases, fumes or solvents,
- strong vibrations,
- strong magnetic fields, as in the vicinity of machines or louds-
peakers,
- thunderstorms or storm conditions such as strong electrosta-
tic fields, etc.
Any use other than as described above can lead to damage to the
product, and can also produce hazards such as, for example,
short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be
changed or modified! The safety instructions are to be followed
without fail!
Operating elements

1 Current clamp with an opening width of 25 mm max. (to "enclo-
se" single conductors, conductor systems, etc.)
2 Hand protector. During current measurement, under no circum-
stances grasp beyond the hand protector. Attention! Touching
electrical circuits can endanger life!

3 Clamp opening lever for opening and closing the current clamp
4 LC display (3 1/2-digit, highest display value: 1999)
5 Rotary switch (= measuring function switch) for selecting the 3
current measuring ranges and with "OFF" position (unit off).
6 Button for "data hold" function (freeze measured value)
7 Battery compartment beneath the lower case shell
