6. Insert the mains plug into a wall socket corresponding to the technical
data.
7. Press the on/off switch I/O down, until it lights up and locks into place.
8. The device automatically switches off as soon as the water starts to boil.
9. Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.
10. Remove the kettle from the device base and pour the water out.

CLEANING

DANGER! Risk of electric shock due to moisture!
• Pull the mains plug out of the wall socket before you clean the kettle.
• The kettle, the device base, the power cable and the mains plug must
not be immersed in water or other liquids.
DANGER! Risk of injury through scalding!
• The kettle becomes very hot during operation. Allow it to cool down
before cleaning.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
• Do not use any astringent or abrasive cleaning agents.
After every use
Clean the device after every use, if possible.
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.
2. Wipe the kettle, the device base and the power cable with a damp cloth
if necessary. Dry with a dry cloth.
3. Allow all parts to dry completely before you put them away or use the
device again.
Cleaning the limescale filter
1. Open the lid.
2. Pull the top end of the limescale filter away from the inner wall.
3. Pull the limescale filter off upwards from the kettle.
4. Clean the limescale filter with a moist dishcloth under running water.
5. Insert the lower end of the limescale filter into the bracket provided in
the kettle, and press the top end against the inner wall until you hear it
click into place.
