Inserting the Tool Bits
Important! Always remove the battery before you change the drill or
screw bit to avoid unintentional starting of the screwdriver.
The cordless drill has a keyless drill chuck (1) so no key is required to
lock the tool bit in place. Make sure that the drill or screw bit is not
skewed when it is inserted and the chuck tightened.
1. Before inserting drill or screw bits open the jaws of the chuck by
holding the lower ring of the chuck and turn the locking ring counter
clockwise.
2. Open the chuck until you can insert the tool. Insert the drill/screw bit
all the way in and then, holding the lower ring, turn the locking ring
clockwise to tighten it.
Detaching the Chuck
Pull forward the ring (2) to detach the quick release chuck of the
screwdriver. There is a tool bit holder (3) on the front of the shaft. To
reattach the chuck just slide it onto the shaft and push the ring back.
Selecting the Gear
This screwdriver is equipped with a two gear transmission. With the
speed selector (5) on top of the screwdriver you can change the gears.
Use the setting 2 for high speed for drilling, and the lower setting 1 for
driving screws.
Working LED
When pressing the ON/OFF trigger the work LED (6) turns on automat-
ically in order to light up the working area.
Adjusting the Torque
You can control the maximum torque applied to the drill bit with the
torque setting ring (4).
Attention! The torque setting ring should only be operated when the
screwdriver is not running; otherwise the screwdriver may be damaged.
To set the drill to the lowest available torque setting, twist the torque
control ring until the small arrow marking on the drill-housing points to
the "1" printed on the torque control ring. In this position the torque
