Calibrating the remote control with the sys-
tem
In this step, the controller is told whether the dri-
ves are located in front of or behind the caravan
axle (in the direction of travel). At the same time,
the code of the remote control and the joystick po-
sition are transmitted to the drive controller.
The remote control must be switched off and
the system must be inactive.
Work steps
Carry out steps 3 to 6 within a period
of 10 seconds. Make sure that you do
not touch the joystick at the same time.
To avoid malfunctions, this must be in
the centre position.
1. Unplug one of the 3-contact connectors of the
grey data cable in the vicinity of the supply
battery.

2. Insert the battery into the battery compart-
ment of the remote control.
Ensure that the polarity is correct.
3. Simultaneously press buttons (e and f) on
the remote control [calibration mode] and hold
down both buttons.
4. Keeping the buttons pressed, switch on the
remote control at the main switch (b).
All the LEDs light up briefly one after ano-
ther.
After this, the operating state LED starts
to flash red, and the maximum drive tem-
perature LED lights up continuously.
5. Release buttons (e and f).
6. Simultaneously press:

a) the disengage buttons (d and e), if the
drives are located in front of the axle.
b) the engage buttons (f and g), if the drives
are located behind the axle.
7. Keeping the buttons pressed, hold the recess
on the back of the remote control directly
against the enabling switch for 10 seconds.
Communication is established with the
drive units and the data are transmitted.

8. Then release the buttons.
After approx. 5 seconds, the correspon-
ding LEDs light up as confirmation.
9. Switch off the remote control.
10. Finally, plug in the 3-contact connector of the
data cable again.

The initial start-up procedure is complete.
Selecting the operating mode
Only required if the Caravan does not rotate
on the position.
1. Switch on the remote control as per section
„Calibrating the remote control and system",
step 1-5.
2. Check the LED displays.
3. If both LEDs „Maximum climbing power" and
„Maximum drive temperature" light up, then
press buttons d and g one time simulta-
neously.
