Risk of injury!
No one is allowed to be in the caravan
or within the turning circle during mano-
euvring.
The manual retraction is not allowed to be
used for positioning the drives on the wheels.
AL-KO Mammut is not allowed to be operated
on unbraked caravans.
AL-KO Mammut is only allowed to be used by
adults.
Radio remote control
CAUTION!
Danger due to inadvertent operation!
Do not plug in or put down the remote
control when it is in operational status.
You could inadvertently perform a move-
ment using the joystick.
Before switching on the remote con-
trol for the first time, refer to the sec-
tion "Initial start-up".
Keep the remote control away from
unauthorised people.
Do not place any objects on the re-
mote control.
Protect the remote control against
moisture and contamination.
There can be isolated interruptions du-
ring the manoeuvring procedure as a re-
sult of external influences (e.g. powerful
radio transmitters).

INITIAL START-UP

These functions are only to be carried out when
the Mammut system is activated for the first time
after installation, or when a new remote control is
being put into operation.
Initial start-up after delivery of the new system is
generally performed by the specialist workshop
which has installed the drive units.

Errors during initial start-up can lead to
misinterpretations between the remote
control and the controller. This can result
in hazardous operating situations.
Carry out initial start-up on open ground, so
that you can subsequently carry out a test run
and function test with sufficient distance bet-
ween you and the caravan.
To avoid the possibility of transmission er-
rors, you should not perform initial start-up
in the direct vicinity of another caravan with
Mammut drives.
Operation
The speed and direction of motion are
controlled steplessly using the joystick.
Please note the functional difference bet-
ween the following areas:
Forwards / Reverse Fig. 3 (1,2)
Rotation Fig. 3 (3,4)
In the areas for forwards (1) or reverse motion
(2), the caravan can be moved with stepless
control in the selected direction.
The further the joystick is moved in
the desired direction, the faster the
caravan moves.
If the joystick is moved straight forwards or
backwards in the direction of the middle ar-
row, the caravan moves in a straight line in
this direction.
If the joystick is moved towards the left-hand
or right-hand arrow in the same direction, the
caravan moves along a corresponding curve.
If the joystick is moved to the side into one of
the turning areas, the caravan rotates to the
right (3) or left (4) about its own axis.
Please note!
If no action is performed on the remote
control after switching it on, the remote
control switches itself off after 5 minutes.
The main switch remains switched on.
In order to use the remote control again,
you must first switch the main switch to
"0" (OFF) and then back to "I" (ON).
