BEFORE INITIAL USE

• Remove all plastic film and packaging material and check the device for damage.
• Clean the device as described under Cleaning and Maintenance.
• Wipe the cooking plates and outer surface with a clean slightly damp sponge or cloth.
NOTE
When using for the first time, a small amount of smoke or odor may come from your waffle maker.
This is normal, we recommend that you do not eat the first waffle you make.
