RECIPE

For your enjoyment, here is a recipe for baking waffles.
1. In a jug gently beat the eggs, milk and vanilla extract and gradually add to the mixture,
mixing well until everything has been added.
2. Sift the flour into the mixture and stir well until all of the flour is incorporated.
3. In a mixing bowl beat together the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy.
4. Preheat the Waffle Maker for 2 minutes and when the green ready light illuminates lightly
grease the baking surfaces.
5. Pour on the batter.
6. Close the lid and cook for approximately 3 minutes.
7. When finished, turn off the Waffle Maker and leave to cool for about 1 minute to cool before
eating.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Clean the casing with a damp cloth. Ensure that no water penetrates the device.
2. Unplug unit and allow to cool completely before cleaning.
3. Never immerse waffle maker in water or other liquid or wash in a dishwasher.
4. Brush any loose crumbs from the waffle grids. Then wipe the grids with a paper towel or
cloth.
5. Should any batter become baked onto the grids or the outside of the unit, pour a small
amount of cooking oil onto the batter. Allow it to sit for a few minutes to soften and wipe off
with a paper towel or cloth.
6. Wipe the outside of the waffle maker with a damp cloth.
7. Do not use steel wool scouring pads or abrasive kitchen cleaners on the unit.
Never open the casing of the appliance. There are no user-serviceable
elements inside. When the casing is open, there is the risk of receiving a
fatal electrical shock. Before cleaning the appliance, remove the power plug
from the wall socket and allow the device to cool down completely. Risk of
injury!
Under no circumstances may the components of the appliance be
submerged in water or other liquids! There would be the risk of a fatal
electric shock upon the next use of the appliance should moisture be
present in the voltage conducting elements.
