INTRODUCTION

congratulations on your purchase of the FS-512 Waffle Maker. It is designed for home use. A
red indicator will let you know when the Waffle Maker is plugged into a power socket and a green
indicator will let you know when it is hot enough to use. There is also a built in spool so you can
coil your power cord for convenient storage.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Carefully read the instruction manual before using the device.
2. Heed all safety warnings to avoid personal injury due to misuse.
3. If transferring this device to a third party, the user manual must also be passed on to the
recipient.
4. No liability can be accepted for any damage incurred as a result of improper use.
5. This device is not suitable for use by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental
abilities (including children), or used by persons with limited experience and/or knowledge
of this device unless they possess the relevant safety knowledge or instructions on how the
device is to be used. Children should be accompanied to ensure they do not play with the
device.
6. Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
7. Do not use the device in close proximity to heat-radiating devices, such as ovens or stoves.
8. Do not use the device if it is damaged. To avoid hazards, defective components must only be
replaced by the manufacturer, his customer service or similar qualified persons.
9. Never attempt to repair the device yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified
persons.
10. Make sure the electricity supply matches the voltage shown on the appliance.
11. Always use the appliance on a surface that is level, dry and heat resistant.
12. Disconnect from the power supply when not in use and before cleaning.
13. The device may remain hot for some time after use, please handle with care.
14. Hot steam may escape when in use, or when opening the lid. It is recommended that
you wear oven mitts.
15. Do not lift or move or cover the Waffle Maker while in use.
16. Make sure there is plenty of air circulation around the Waffle Maker when in use.
17. To avoid risk of fire, never leave the Waffle Maker unattended when in use.
18. Do not use an external timing switch, or separate remote control system to operate the
appliance.
This device is suitable exclusively for private household use.

Dispose of the packaging materials in an appropriate way. Contact your local
authorities about collection points or waste separation.
