Fouling and algae should be removed from the
comb of the protective grid (1) in regular intervals.
Just the same way, the U-Shaped Tube 1001.74 (2)
should be checked for potential air collection which
has to be removed, if and when necessary. No
algae, no aquatic animals nor any fouling may be
present in chambers (3) and (4).
The safety volume has to be checked in regular
intervals:
When the recirculation pump is switched off, the
aquarium water will rise to water level A (see water
level in the aquarium) in the cabinet filter. By no
means may the cabinet filter be dimensioned too
small to take up this volume of water (cf. "Rule of
thumb for outlets" in the instructions for use of the
Cabinet Filter Skimmer Kit 15, Compact Kit 16 / 18
/ 18.7 /21).
Entretien
La grille d'aspiration (1) doit être régulièrement
débarrassée des dépôts et des algues.
De même, il est important de s'assurer régulièrement
qu'il n'y ait pas d'accumulation d'air dans le siphon
en U 1001.74 (2). Des algues, animaux ou dépôts
ne doivent pas se trouver dans les chambres (3)
et (4).
Veuillez régulièrement vérifier le volume de
sécurité :
Lors de l'arrêt de la pompe de reprise, l'eau
de l'aquarium s'écoule dans le filtre jusqu'à
la dimension (A) (voir Niveau d'eau dans
l'aquarium). La cuve de filtration ne doit pas être
sous-dimensionnée et doit pouvoir contenir ce
volume (voir Règles concernant les déversoirs,
dans les notices Skimmer Kit 15, Compact Kit 16
/ 18 / 18.7 / 21).
