Setup
The alarm relay coils operate according to each setpoint & deadband
combination (configured via front panel multiturn potentiometers).
Internal push fit jumpers determine the alarm type (high or low acting)
and coil energisation (normally energised/de-energised). The alarm
outputs are dual SPDT relay contacts.
Indication
The front panel status LEDs indicate an alarm condition regardless of
the coil energisation setting.
Isolation
Input, Power Supply, Alarm Channel One and Alarm Channel Two are
all isolated from each other.
•Installation
Caution: In order to meet product safety requirements, these units must
only be installed, by qualified staff, in accordance with the information
given in this manual, using the mounting clips and terminal blocks
supplied, and all relevant national electrical wiring and safety rules
must be followed.
Locate the instrument in an area that is free from dust, moisture and
corrosive gases (pollution degree II or better).
PowerSupplyRequirements
Check the power supply against the model number before applying
power to the instrument.
ProtectiveEarthconnection
Earth connections attach to a stud on the underside of the case. You
must attach this connection before applying power to the unit.
