AREA NO 0–7
To define up to 8 areas. Select the desired area and use the settings below.
STATUS: select ON to activate the selected masked area; select OFF to deactivate
the selected masked area.
HORIZON SIZE: set the width [a] (in pixels) of the
masked area.
VERTICAL SIZE: sets the height [b] (in pixels) of the
masked area.
HORIZON MOVE: sets the distance (in pixels) from the
left side of the screen [c] for the masked area.
VERTICAL MOVE: sets the distance (in pixels) from the
top of the screen [d] for the masked area.

7.11 Motion Detection

Use this function to see motion detection during live monitoring. You can define up to 4 separate areas
for motion detection. If the camera detects motion in an area, the outer edge of that area will 'flash'.
Menu: DIRECTION
SENSITIVITY
Set the motion detection sensitivity. With a higher sensitivity, slighter movements will
be detected. Available options for sensitivity: WEAK (weak); LOW (low); MIDDLE
(medium), and HIGH (high).

the selected detection area.
COLOR: set the colour of the detection area. The outer edge of the area will flash in
this colour when the camera detects motion.
HORIZON SIZE: set the width [a] (in pixels) of the
detection area.
VERTICAL SIZE: sets the height [b] (in pixels) of the
detection area.
HORIZON MOVE: sets the distance (in pixels) from the
left side of the screen [c] for the detection area.
VERTICAL MOVE: sets the distance (in pixels) from the
top of the screen [d] for the detection area.
7.12 Language
Use this function to set the language of the OSD menu.

Troubleshooting
No image
Check the power supply voltage and polarity. Check if all cables are connected properly. Check if the
correct input channel is selected on the monitor.
Interference/ripples in the image
Interference/ripples can have many causes. Check if the power supply is stable. Keep the camera's video
and power cables away from existing mains and data cables. Use good quality cables only. If the camera
and monitor are powered from sources with different grounds, this may cause ground loops. In this case,
install a ground loop corrector, or power the camera and the monitor from the same source.
Picture background colour changes continuously
The electromagnetic field from fluorescent lamps may cause colour roll in the image. Either reduce the
number of fluorescent lamps, or increase the distance between the camera and the lamps.
