• To lock the safe, first close the safe door. Then turn the fastening handle to the left as far as it
will go. The lock is secured.
Check the lock - the fastening handle should not move to the right now.
If you accidently turn the fastening handle to the left while the safe door is open and
cause the two locking bolts to protrude from the safe door (and thereby prevent the
safe door from locking), just proceed as described above for opening the safe door.
Hide display during entering the code
If you proceed as in "Open safe by entering the code", the master or user code is displayed while
entering.
That can be avoided by briefly pressing the "*CLEAN" button after starting to enter the code with
the button "#START" (8 lines appear on the display now).
During the following process of entering a master or user code, only an "o" appears on the display
instead of the code number.
Re-set master or user code
Changing the master and user code is done in the same way. Make sure to program
a different code for each one. Memorise this code. If you forget these codes, the safe
may only be opened with the delivered keys.
• Press the "#START" button briefly, 8 lines appear on the LC display ("- - - - - - - -").
• Enter the current code (either master or user code). Correct an input mistake by pressing the
"*CLEAN" button.
The basic setting of the delivery uses the master code "123456" and the user code "1234".
• Press the "#START" key.
• The word "OPEN" appears on the display if the correct code is entered.
• Press the "*CLEAN" button within 7 seconds and 8 lines appear in the LC display ("- - - - - - - -").
Now enter a new code (1....8 digits). Correct an input mistake by pressing the "*CLEAN" button.
We recommend to program a code with at least 4 digits.
• Confirm the code with the button "#START". The display shows "INTO"; the new master or user
code has been saved.
Alarm sound during movement
Strong movements of the safe (e.g. opening by force or de-installation from the wall) triggers an
alarm sound. It can be stopped by entering the correct master or user code.
Press the button "0" to switch on the function.
Due to safety reasons, the function may not be deactivated via keystroke.
If you wish to deactivate the function, remove the batteries for several seconds and
place them back in the safe. This causes the settings for date, time, week days and the
data sets for the opening processes to disappear.
Setting the date, time and the weekday
• Press the button "*CLEAN" during the normal display (not while entering a code). The display for
the year starts flashing.
• Set the year with the buttons "0" (downward) or "8" (upward).
• Change to month, date, hours or minutes as well as the week day with the button "#START" and
set the desired value with the buttons "0" (downward) or "8" (upward).
Upper line: YY-MM-DD = year-month-date
Lower line: HH-MM = hours-minutes; additionally, the week day (Monday...Sunday).
• The setting mode is automatically completed each time you do not press a key for about 3 se-
conds. The settings are saved.
Display data sets for the opening processes
The safe saves the last 14 successful opening activities in one data set including date and time as
well as the used code. You may display these as follows:
• Press the "#START" button briefly, 8 lines appear on the LC display ("- - - - - - - -"). The display
light is simultaneously activated.
• Enter either the master code or the user code. Correct an input mistake by pressing the
"*CLEAN" button.
Confirm the code with the button "#START".
• If the code is correct, the display shows "OPEN" and an acoustic signal appears.
• If the display "OPEN" disappears but the display light is still activated, press the button "0"
immediately.
Now the date (YY-MM-DD = year-month-date) and subsequently the time (HH-MM = hours-
minutes) of the last opening activity are displayed.
In addition, "PASS1" is displayed for the user code and "PASS2" for the master code.
The first displayed data set corresponds to the current date/time and the currently used
code type.
• To show the next data set, press the "0" button exactly when "PASS1" or "PASS2" is displayed.
Or else, the display mode is automatically terminated.
Reset master und user code to factory setting
• Initially, open the safe door as described above.
• A key button is hidden at the back of the safe door (close to the door
axis on the inside of the door), see circle in the image to the right.
• Press the key button briefly; the display shows "CLEAR".
The master code and the user code are now reset to the factory set-
ting.
Master code = 123456
User code = 1234
Tips and notes
• The product is suitable to store valuables or to protect them from unauthorised access.
The burglar protection is achieved through its construction; e.g. via the steel plate casing and
the construction of the door as well as the applied electronics with access code. Unauthorised
access to the items in the safe is thereby impeded.
• Ensure that you are not being observed by anyone while opening/locking the safe.
• The thick door which contains the locking mechanism does not allow the availability of the
entire internal space of the safe. Carefully close the door, do not use force! This could cause the
items inside the safe to be damaged.
• Never store the two delivered keys inside the safe. It will be impossible to open the safe, if you
forget your master or user code!
• If you have forgotten your master or user code, open the safe with the key delivered and repro-
gram a new master or user code.
Maintenance and care
• Apart from the occasional battery change, the product is maintenance-free for you.
• The safe should only occasionally be cleaned with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Never use aggressive
cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the housing could be damaged (disco-
lourations).
Disposal
a) Product
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regula-
tions.
Remove the inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
As an end user, you are legally obliged (battery directive) to return all used batteries/rechargeable
batteries; disposal in the household waste is not permitted.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with
the adjacent symbol, which indicates that disposal in the household waste is prohi-
bited. Denotations fort he respective heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury,
Pb=lead (The denotations can be found on the batteries/rechargeable batteries e.g.,
under the waste bin symbol to the right).
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the collecting point of your
council, in our stores or everywhere, where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thereby fulfil the legal requirements and contribute to the protection of our environment.
