TROUBLE-SHOOTING
The BRAX NOX4 DSP is in protection mode and the respective LED lights up yellow.
Cause:
The speaker wiring is faulty (short circuit between the wires or to the chassis of the vehicle).
Remedy:
Check the speaker wires or the speakers themselves for short-circuiting (p.18-20).
The BRAX NOX4 DSP is in protection mode and the respective LED lights up red.
Cause:
The amplifier is overheated. It could take some time (depending on the outside temperature) until the ampli-
fier turns on again.
The output level of the NOX4 is too low in bridged mode
Cause:
The channel routing in the internal DSP is not configured correctly
Remedy:
It is necessary to assign both bridged channels in bridged mode an identical channel routing. It means to
assign both output channels the same input channels.. Please read carefully the DSP PC-Tool instruction
manual.Furthermore pay attention to adjust also the equalizing, high- and lowpass filter, the phase and time
alignment identically. For an easier configuration the DSP PC-Tool software provides a channel link function.
