Please note
A rear view camera is an optional
accessory. Please inform yourself by
your local specialist supplier about
current models and their options and
possibilities.
Rear view cameras are to be installed at
the rear of the vehicle. They serve as a
parking assist element and an auxiliary
extension of the viewing angle while
reversing.
!
Please do not rely on the
camera's picture only while rever-
sing.
A rear view camera serves as
an additional assistance, it can
not substitude your full attention
driving.
! Please consult an installation
manual of the camera.

Connecting the camera

The camera port is located on the rear
side of the unit.
A
The yellow cinch jack is the terminal
for the incoming video signal from the
camera. Please plug the video cable of
the camera into it.

The red jack should be connected
with the vehicle voltage by using the
delivered cable: the current supply wire
(usually red coloured or striped white)
should be connected with the +12 Volt
wire of the reverse light. The black wire
should be grounded.

Please connect the camera triggering
cable of the unit (the blue coloured one,
labelled "reverse") with the +12 Volt
wire of the reverse light as well.
In this way the camera turns on every
time the reverse gear is shifted.

If your camera is wireless it has to
be connected with the wireless trans-
mitter and receiver first:
» The transmitter is to be connected
with the camera and with the voltage
– as above described regarding the
camera.
» The receiver is to be connected with
the unit and with the voltage – as above
described regarding the camera.
