If there is already food in the freezer
compartment, switch on Fast freeze"
several hours before placing fresh
produce in the freezer compartment.
As a rule, 4-6 hours is adequate.
If max. freezing capacity is to be utilised,
24 hours are required. Smaller quantities
of food (up to 2 kg) can be frozen without
Fast freeze".
Fast freeze" switches off automatically
after 2 days at the latest.
To switch on fast freeze", press the
super" button, Fig. 2/3.

come on.
Freezing food
Food should be frozen solid as quickly as
possible. To retain vitamins, nutritional
value, appearance and flavour, do not
exceed max. freezing capacity. If freezing
food in the freezer drawers, the max.
freezing capacity is reduced slightly.

Information about the max. freezing
capacity within 24 hours can be found
on the rating plate.
The max. freezing capacity is reached
on the upper wire shelf.
Keep food which is to be frozen away
from food which is already frozen.
To retain the flavour and prevent the food
from drying out, pack airtight.

Warning
Do not use harmful materials to pack food
or to seal containers.

Plastic film, polyethylene blown film,
aluminium foil and freezer tins.
Sealing materials
Rubber bands, plastic clips, string,
cold resistant adhesive tape.

Ice block

The ice block slows down the thawing
process of the frozen food in the event of
a power failure or malfunction. Place the
ice block directly on the food in the top
compartment.
