• Store the battery in a cool, dry place. Direct intense heat can
damage the battery. Therefore keep the product away from
strong heat sources.
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. If any
of these areas come into contact with battery acid, rinse them
immediately with plenty of clean water and consult a doctor as
soon as possible.
• Do not throw the battery into a fire, short-circuit it or dismantle it.
• Never expose the battery to excessive heat, such as from
sunshine, fire or similar.
• If the camera is not going to be used for some time, remove the
battery.
• If the battery is leaking, remove it from the camera immediately.
Before inserting a new battery, clean the contacts. There is a risk
of skin irritations from battery acid!
• Remove a flat battery from the camera.
• At low temperatures the capacity of the battery might drop
significantly as the chemical reactions slow down. When
recording in cold weather keep a second battery pack in reserve
in a warm place (e.g. trouser pocket).
• Avoid knocks or impacts that can affect the battery; do not crush
or drop the battery.
