Before First Use

1. Charge the battery before first use. See details in chapter "Charge Integrated Battery".
Charge Integrated Battery
The player is powered by the integrated rechargeable lithium battery. Charge the battery
as follows:
1. Open the rubber cover on the bottom. Make sure the ON/OFF switch (3) is in the "OFF"
position.
2. Connect the Micro B USB plug of the charger cable to the socket (4) on the system.
Connect the USB plug to a powered-on computer. The indicator lamp lights up red
and the battery charges.
3. When the battery is fully charged, the red indicator lamp goes out.
4. Remove the charger cable from the speaker and PC.
CAUTION:
Never leave the unit unattended when it is charging.
NOTE:
• The battery is only charged while the PC is switched on.
• Do not connect the player for a long period of time to a laptop computer discon-
nected from mains power Otherwise the laptop computer' s battery may be dis-
charged.
• The charging time varies according to battery use.
• When the battery power is low, a warning signal will sound intermittently.
• When not using the system for a long period of time, charge the battery at least
every 6 to 12 weeks. Even if switched off, the battery continues to discharge.
Location
Select a suitable location for the unit. A dry, even, non-slip surface on which you can easily
operate the unit is suitable.
