Programming the basic settings
By programming the basic settings, you adapt the handset settings
to suit your individual needs. Press the ‚ button to cancel the
process. If no button is pressed over a period of 15 sec., the pro-
cess is automatically terminated and none of the modifications
made are saved. Proceed as follows:
1. Activate the programming process

2. Volume and ringing melody for external calls
y/z, OFF to 5 , 1 to 5, ”,
3. Volume and ringing melody for internal calls
y/z, OFF to 5 , 1 to 5, ”,
4. Date and time
Use the y/z buttons to select Day, Month and Time
and change them as required using 0 to 9, ”,
5. Tone dialling / Pulse dialling
y/z, 1= Tone, 2= Pulse, ”,
6. Flash time
y/z, 1= 100 ms, 2= 300 ms, ”,
7. Base station volume and ringing melody
y/z, OFF to 5 , 1 to 5, ”.
Restoring the default settings
1. Remove the batteries from the handset.
2. Reinsert the batteries in the handset then immediately press
and hold the * button until 8888888 appears in the
display.
3. Press the ” button for 3 seconds until you hear an acoustic
confirmation signal. After a certain time, the telephone switches
to Standby mode.
