CORE Kites are engineered to deliver a cus-
tom bar feel. You have the ability to make
precise adjustments to the GTS4's flight cha-
racteristics to give you the bar and harness
feel you seek. Understanding how our kite
trim system works for you will make you a
better kiter, regardless of your experience or
riding style. For example, specific trim set-
tings will allow you to focus on your tricks
instead of your kite. With fully adjustable
back line tension (aka trim), front line re-
sponsiveness and kite turning speed, our
quick adjusting trim system gives you the
freedom to ride any way you like.
Locate the CORE INTELLIGENT TRIM SYS-
TEM (CIT) flight adjustment points on the
leading edge where it connects to the bridle.
There, you will find three adjustment knots,
for three different settings:
1. STANDARD TRIM – USE MIDDLE KNOT
This is the standard setting out of the bag.
When the bridle is connected to the midd-
standard
le knot, the GTS4 has good depower and
turning speed; and delivers stable harness
pressure or front line pull.
2. WAVE TRIM – USE INSIDE KNOT
On this setting, the GTS4 depowers more ef-
fectively; turns faster around a center that
is closer to the middle of the kite; and is the
ideal setting for wave riding.
3. UNHOOKED TRIM – USE OUTSIDE KNOT
This trim setting, closest to the wingtips, in-
creases harness pressure; moves the center
of rotation to its wingtips; and is ideal for
freestyle and wakestyle riding. Kiteloops
are powerful with strong horizontal travel
downwind. Kite stability improves, and
more pop is generated during unhooked
maneuvers.

Do not pack up a wet kite.
LINE LENGTH CHECK
You should check your line lengths on a
regular basis. Attach all 4 flying line ends
on a hook.
When the adjuster is open fully and you pull
the bar towards your body all lines have to
be the same length.

With pressure gauge: watch the needle
and pump up your kite between 7–8 psi.
With smaller kites, with thinner leading
edges (LE), err towards 8 psi whilst with a
bigger kites and correspondingly thicker LE
err towards 7 psi.
