For overhead use, always install a safety-rope that can hold at least 12 times the weight of the fixture. You
must only use safety-ropes with quick link with screw cap.
Appropriate safety-ropes:
Safety-rope 40cm x 4mm up to 30kg
Safety-rope 90cm x 4mm up to 30kg
Safety-rope 140cm x 4mm up to 30kg No. 58010305
Safety-rope 40cm x 6mm up to 60kg
Safety-rope 90cm x 6mm up to 60kg
Safety-rope 140cm x 6mm up to 60kg No. 58010480
Please note: Before installing the eye-bolts, make sure that the the thread is always in perfect condition and
free from dirt etc.
Install the eye-bolts in the threaded holes of the speaker-system. The eye-bolts must be tightened until stop
position, hand-tight and without any tools.
Insert the quick links of the safety-ropes in the eye-bolts of the speaker-system. Pull the safety-ropes over a
safe fixation spot. Insert the end in the quick link and tighten the safety screw.
The maximum drop distance must never exceed 20 cm.
A safety rope which already hold the strain of a crash or which is defective must not be used again.
Before taking into operation for the first time, the installation has to be approved by an expert!
