1 Preconfiguration of the Heat Pump Heating System
The preconfiguration tells the controller which components are
connected to the heat pump heating system. Preconfiguration
must be carried out before the system-specific settings, in order
to show or hide menu items (dynamic menus).

The language for menu navigation can be selected from
the available languages. The selection is finalised by
pressing the 'ESC' button.
When starting the HPM for the first time, the output must
be selected at the heat pump's standard measuring
point. The available increments for performance are dis-
played depending on the type of heat pump. The output
is shown on the heat pump's type plate (air-to-water HP
at A7/W35, brine-to-water HP at B0/W35, water-water
HP at 10/W35). In the case of a 2-compressor heat
pump, the output stated in operation with 2 compres-
sors must be chosen. If no match between the perform-
ance data on the type plate and the selection on the
HPM can be found, then the setting 'Other' should be
selected. These settings must only be carried out by the
after-sales service. The selection is finalised by press-
ing the 'ESC' button.
