14. Troubleshooting

Problem
No reception of the measured data
from the wind sensor or thermo/hy-
gro sensor
The weather forecast is not right
The wind direction is wrong
The wind speed is wrong
Nothing is displayed (or only the
backlighting is on)
Remedy
• Choose another site of setup for the basis station, the wind sensor or the
thermo/hygro sensor.
• Observe Chapter 13.
• Check the battery status of the sensors and replace the batteries if nec-
essary.
• If you operate more than one thermo/hygro sensor (one is enclosed with
the delivery, up to two others can be ordered as accessories), each one
must be set to a different transmission channel.
• There may be strong deviations due to local situations or quickly chang-
ing weather.
• Check that the wind sensor is aligned north (see label "N" on the wind
sensor). A storm may have turned the wind sensor on its holder as well.
• The installation site of the wind sensors is unsuitable (e.g. too close to
a building, etc.).

• Replace the batteries of the basis station with new ones.
• Push the "RESET" button in the battery compartment of the basis station.
