g) Trend Displays for Temperature/Humidity

An arrow symbol to the right of the temperature and humidity displays the trend of the measured values:

You can see at a glance there where the measured values are going.
h) Weather Forecast
The radio wind meter "EWM001" requires at least 24 hours after commissioning to adjust to the local weather condi-
tions. Then it uses the progress of the measured values to calculate a weather forecast for the next 6 hours.
Sunny
Different local situations may cause strong deviations between the display and the actual weather. There-
fore, do not rely only on the weather forecast of the basis station if you want to go, e.g., for a mountain hike.
i) Wind speed
The display of the wind speed can be switched in the setting menu between:
• "AVERAGE" = Display of the average wind speed
• "GUST" = Display of the gust speed
For the units, "KPH" (kilometres per hour), "MPH" (miles per hour) and "KNOTS" (knots) can be set.
Observe chapter 10. b) for the procedure.
The time (1 to 19 minutes) from which the measured values are to be used for calculation for average wind
speed displayed can be set. For this purpose, also see chapter 10. b).
The wind sensor transmits the wind speed and the gust speed every minute; the same applies to the wind
direction.
The wind speed must be at least 1 m/s for each measurement.
