ANALOG OUT
The analogue output of the CD player supplies a fixed-
level output signal.
It is designed for connection to a pre-amplifier, integrated
amplifier or receiver with its own volume control.
The output sockets should be connected to the CD input
sockets (INPUT) on the pre-amplifier, integrated amplifier
or receiver, maintaining the correct L/R coding, i. e.:
'ANALOG OUTPUT L'
'ANALOG OUTPUT R'
DIGITAL OUT
Digital co-axial output for connection to an external
digital/analogue converter.

RS 232 socket
Control socket for remote-controlling the CD 1260 R, and
for integration into networked Multimedia systems.
The socket is also used for transferring software
updates.
R
LINK
Control input / output for R
Both sockets are equivalent – one is used as input, the
other one serves as output towards other R
E2000
Input socket for connecting an E2000 remote control
receiver (* optional accessory).
Note:
This socket can also be used to connect the CD 1260 R
to earlier generations of 'R'-series pre-amplifiers,
integrated amplifiers or receivers without an RLINK
socket.
Mains switch
Not present on all model variants (depending on national
safety rules).
For operation the mains switch (if present) is to be
switched to the position marked 'I'.
Mains input
The mains cable is plugged into this socket.
