Together with your doctor you have chosen an established and trusted
brand: SacroLoc®.
Purpose
The SacroLoc® is an orthosis that is used to stabilize the entire pelvis and
the sacroiliac joints, and to take pressure off the involved muscles and
ligaments. By stabilizing the pelvis the SacroLoc® helps relieve pain and
restore mobility.
Usage information
General Instructions
• Read all of these instructions carefully because they contain important
information about the use, indications, contraindications, application,
care and disposal of the SacroLoc®
• Keep these instructions for use. You may need to use them again.
• If you have any further questions, ask your doctor, your specialty store or
our Technical Service department
Information about wearing the product
• Consult your doctor if you want to wear the SacroLoc® while pregnant.
• Do not use with other products unless you discuss this in advance with
your doctor.
• Do not let the product come in contact with substances containing fats
or acids, ointments, or lotions.
• Wear the SacroLoc® over a t-shirt or undershirt.
• If your symptoms worsen or you notice any unusual changes with your
body, please contact your doctor immediately.
• The manufacturer is exempt from product liability if the product is used
improperly.
• Do not make any changes to this product. If this restriction is not
observed, the product's performance may be compromised so that
product liability will be excluded

• The SacroLoc® is intended for your use only and has been adjusted to t
you. Please do not give the SacroLoc® to anyone else.
Information about cleaning this product
• Never expose the orthosis to direct heat (e.g., heater, sunlight, in your
car, etc.). This could damage the materials making the SacroLoc® less
effective.
Indications
• SI joint syndrome
• SI joint osteoarthritis
• SI joint instability
• SI joint dysfunction
• Myalgia and tendinopathy in the in the pelvic area
• Pelvic girdle instability
• Symphysis diastasis and loosening
• Prevention of recurrent SI dysfunction and myotendinopathies
(rectus abdominis muscle, piriformis adductor muscle)
• Structural disturbance following lumbar spinal fusion

Risks of using this product
To date, there are no known side effects that impact the entire body. The
product must be put on/used properly. Do not put the SacroLoc® on too
tightly or it could create localized pressure symptoms. In rare case blood
vessels or nerves may be constricted.
Contraindications
There are no known medically signi cant hypersensitivities. With the
following clinical presentations putting on and wearing this type of
medical aid should only be done after consultation with your doctor:
• Skin problems/injuries in the part of the body where the support is worn,
especially if there are signs of in ammation. Also, raised scars with
swelling, redness and overheating
• Sensation disorders
• Severely compromised cardiac or pulmonary function (danger of elevated
blood pressure if medical aid is worn while doing strenuous physical
activity)
