Preparation
Unpack everything delivered and check that everything is there and intact. Device
overview Page 12.
Always transport/send the thermostat in its original packaging to avoid damage. Keep
the packaging for this purpose.
Dispose of no longer needed packaging material according to applicable regulations. If
you notice transport damage, immediately contact the dealer from whom you acquired
the thermostat.
Connecting the thermostat
1. Plug the thermostat into a socket so that the digital display is on the top of the
thermostat and is easily visible (fig. 2).
- After plugging in, all segments of the digital display start up one after another and
the firmware version is shown. Then the actual temperature is shown.
2. Clean the surface onto which you want to attach the sensor. Consider possible
incompatibilities of the surface with some cleaning agents.
WARNING:
If the sensor overheats, there is the danger of fire.
- Do not position the sensor directly onto the heat source.
3. Place the sensor so that it easily records the temperature of the heat source emitting
heat and is not exposed to direct sunlight.
NOTE:
Direct sunlight would falsify the actual temperature measured.
4. Lay the sensor cable so that it is protected against mechanical damage and cannot
be tripped over.
