Intended use

Intended use
The thermostat TRD has been designed to regulate the temperature of a connected heat
source (e.g. heaters/titanium tubes, electric blankets or heating lamps), depending on
the current temperature.
The target temperature and the switching accuracy can be set via the digital display. The
thermostat then automatically regulates the switching times of the connected heating
source, depending on the temperature measured at the sensor.

Safety instructions

WARNING:
The thermostat is operated with electricity. Therefore, if it is not handled properly,
there is a danger of death by electric shock.
- Before using the thermostat, ensure that it is not damaged.
- Never open the housing of the thermostat.
- Only operate the thermostat at a socket, the voltage value of which matches the
value cited in the technical data.
- Only connect heat sources to the thermostat whose voltages match the value
cited in the technical data.
- Only operate the thermostat together with an earth fault circuit interrupter with
a maximum of 30 mA.
- Keep damp away from the thermostat and do not put it in baths, saunas or other
damp or wet areas.
The following general rules apply:

Do not leave the thermostat unsupervised if children or persons who cannot assess
dangers are in the area.

The thermostat has not been designed to be operated by persons (including
children) with restricted physical, sensory or mental capabilities or who are
inexperienced or lack the necessary knowledge, unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety or from whom they receive instructions on how to
use the device.

Supervise children to ensure that they do not play with the thermostat.
