Choose a number between 1 and 4. To toggle between the options, press the
OK button when the Key Index field is highlighted. The up arrow and down
arrow can be used to switch between the four options. Press OK again to
confirm a selection.
Key
To connect to an encrypted wireless network, the key entered on the
ACTIVITY Media Player 150 must be identical to the network's key (case
sensitive!).
Press ENTER with the Key field highlighted to enter a key using the on-
screen keyboard. Keys are defined by entering a hexadecimal string
(hexadecimal numbers 0 – 9 and the letters A – F) or in ASCII format
(American Standard Code for Information Interchange
characters).
After entering the appropriate wireless settings for your network, use the down
arrow to navigate to the Next button. Press OK to proceed to the next screen.
Your current network settings
The current network settings are displayed
and can be changed at this point. DHCP is
the default setting. The DHCP option allows
your DHCP-enabled devices to assign an IP
address configuration to the ACTIVY Media
Player 150.
DHCP
If your network has a DHCP server, press the down arrow button on the
remote control to navigate to the Next button. Once the Next button is
highlighted, press OK to proceed to the next screen.
Most home networks have a DHCP server so you shouldn't normally need to
change this setting.
Static IP address
If you are using statically configured IP address configurations for devices in
your network, press OK on the remote control while the Configuration field is
highlighted. The up and down arrows can be used to toggle between the
options. Press OK to make a selection. The number buttons on the remote
control are used to enter your IP address configuration. If you enter the IP
address via the numbers on the remote, press and hold down the 0 button for
at least three seconds in order to enter a decimal separator ("."). Be sure to
enter a unique IP address within the same range as your network. After
entering the appropriate settings for your network, use the down arrow to
navigate to the Next button. Press OK to proceed to the next screen.
