The scale works with 100 LUX solar batteries. These batteries
are included in the scope of supply.
When the scale is used the first time, place it in such a way that
a maximum of light can be picked up. It is not necessary to
switch on a special light. Rays of the sun or room lighting are
enough.
Expose the scale to light for approx. one minute. Then it is
ready to use.
After the solar battery is charged, the display lights up.
In idle mode, when the battery is fully charged, a sun symbol
starts to blink on the display.
Without light the solar battery cannot generate enough energy.
Should you use the scale at night or in the dark, you first have
to switch on the light for approx. one minute.
The rating plate with the performance data can be founded on
the back of the device
This chapter provides important information on operating the
device. Follow the instructions in order to avoid danger and
damage.
