This section contains important information on cleaning and care of
the appliance.
WARNING
Observe the following safety precautions before starting to clean
the appliance:
► Always pull the plug out of the plug socket before cleaning the
appliance.
► Wait until the appliance has cooled down before you start to
clean it.
► Never immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water or
other liquids.
CAUTION
Danger of damage to the appliance, individual parts or non-
stick coating!
► Neither the appliance nor any of the individual parts are suitable
for washing in a dish washer.
► Never use sharp objects or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the inside of the bread maker, the forms or the dough hook/agi-
tator in order to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
■ Clean the appliance after every use. For simple cleaning, the
cover of the appliance can be removed (see following section
Removing the cover).
■ Wipe down the appliance and the inside of the housing using a
damp cloth.
■ The other individual parts used can be washed in hot water with a
little added mild detergent.
■ Allow the appliance to dry completely for some time.
■ After cleaning, fit the cover again (see following section
the cover).
