Warranty and guarantee
CERA stoves have been designed and constructed in accordance with the most up-to-date
guidelines and findings. Since it is technical equipment it must be set up and connected by
an expert in accordance with specialist regulations and specifications. The stove must be
connected to a chimney. The buyer is obliged to have the chimney checked by an expert for
suitability before installing the stove.
This manual forms the basis for professional initial commissioning by an expert.
The stove setup and the connection to a chimney must be carried out by a specialist.
Quality complaints about new products must be clarified directly with the supplier. CERA
Design provides a guarantee of 5 years from the date of manufacture, over and above the
legal requirement, on all functioning parts*.
The guarantee period starts at the time of product delivery to the first end customer or at the
time of initial commissioning. The invoice issued by the specialist dealer who supplied the
equipment is considered to be verification of the above. The production number, which is
stated on the nameplate, must always be stated.
Guarantee cover cannot be given for exhibition pieces which have been on display for more
than two years. Equipment which has exceeded this limit is not considered to be new
equipment. The dealer's obligations from the purchase contract (individual contract between
customer and supplier) are not affected by the above.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies to rights resulting from this guarantee.
* Wear parts and components in contact with combustion are excepted.
