Thank you for selecting the Opus 88 condens-
er microphone. Please take some time to read care-
fully through this product information before set-
ting up the equipment.
Applications
• Miking of drums, especially snare or toms
Use / Connection
• The Opus 88 consists of a microphone clamp
with integrated pre-amp and a capsule (cardioid)
on a short gooseneck.
• The microphone clamp can be easily mounted
to the rim of the drum. The microphone can be
perfectly adjusted with the short gooseneck.
• The Opus 88 is equipped with a 3-pin XLR-plug.
The microphone can be connected supplying a
phantom power of 11 to 52 V.

Maintenance

Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning the Opus 88
microphone. If necessary, you can use a gentle
cleansing agent (such as washing-up liquid). Make
sure not to allow any water to enter the transducer
element and never use any solvent cleansers.
Service
Servicing must be carried out by qualified
service personnel only. Dismantling the microphone
yourself will invalidate the guarantee.
