The packaging also contains the accessories and the
documentation, which should be kept in a safe place for
future reference.
 Open the top of the box, remove the accessories and
slide the machine out of its wrapping.
 Check the condition of the machine, the accessories,
the power cord and the plug, and in the event of
damage notify the retailer immediately.
Packing materials (plastic bags, expanded
polystyrene, nails, boxes etc.) should not be left
within the reach of children as they constitute a
potential hazard.
Do not dispose of the packing materials with domestic
refuse, but at the appropriate collection point for
recycling.

8. INSTALLATION

8.1. Installation
The machine is delivered ready to install according to
the rating plate.
Ensure
that
the
power
characteristics as the machine.
The electrical system must be equipped with a circuit
breaker or a properly earthed automatic main switch. In
the absence of such safety devices, a bipolar differential
magnetothermic circuit breaker should be installed by a
qualified electrician as required by safety regulations.
This appliance must be earthed. The
manufacturer declines all liability if this
safety precaution is not respected.
Ensure that the power cord is not damaged by being
kinked, compressed or strain.
Do not disconnect the machine by pulling the power
cord, but take hold of the plug to remove it.
It is advisable not to situate the machine in a niche or
similar restricted area to avoid difficulties with
operating, replenishing or maintenance.
 The surface on which the machine is installed must be
completely level, dry, robust and stable, and be at a
height of 80cm above floor level.;
 Position the machine and connect the plug to the power
socket.
8.2. Description controls
1. Main switch.
Position the switch at 1 to turn on the power to the
machine.

Hold down the button for 4 seconds to turn the machine
on or off. Press the button briefly to access the menu,
access submenus and confirm changes to a parameter.
3. Espresso coffee dispenser button/- (key 2).
Press the key once for one espresso brew cycle, press
twice for two brew cycles. During exploration of the
menu it serves to navigate and to decrease a
parameter.
4. Coffee dispenser button/+ (key 3).
Press the key once for one coffee dispensing cycle,
press twice for two cycles. During exploration of the
menu it serves to navigate and to increase a
parameter.
5. Hot water dispenser button (key 4)
Press the button once to dispense hot water from the
water/steam wand (fig.1-8).
6. Steam dispenser button (key 5)
Press the key once for the programmed supply of
steam from the water/steam wand (fig.1-8). Press the
key twice consecutively for continuous supply of
steam.
7. Cappuccino dispenser/exit (key 6)
Press the key once for programmed supply of steam
from the water/steam wand (fig.1-8). Press twice
consecutively for continuous supply of steam.
NB. It is possible to dispense coffee, steam and
cappuccino or coffee, hot water and cappuccino at the
same time, but hot water and steam cannot be dispensed
at the same time.

9. OPERATION

9.1 Starting operation

Each time the machine is switched on it performs a
check of its components to ensure that everything is
ready for correct operation; it moves the group and if
necessary tops up the level of water in the boiler.
 Fill the water tank (use drinking water, softened if
possible).
 The machine can be equipped with an anti-limescale
resin filter; before switching on the machine leave the
filters to soak in water to impregnate the resin.
 Insert the water tank making sure that the rubber tubes
are not twisted.
 Turn on the main switch (position 1) and hold down
key 1; the words "heating please wait" will appear on
the display.
 Once the operating temperature has been reached the
words "machine ready" will appear on the display.
 Press the relative key to dispense as required.
The water level in the tank 10 must be checked
regularly to prevent the pump from drawing in
air and suddenly becoming noisy while coffee
is being dispensed.
