Some basic safety instructions must be observed when handling electronic devices. To avoid the

SAFETy INSTRUCTIoNS
1. Power Source
• Connect your unit only to a power outlet that was
installed according to regulations. Do not use a
table socket outlet or an extension cord.
• The voltage listed on the type plate must correspond
to the voltage of your power network.
2. Power Cord
• When installing the power cord, please be sure that
it does not pose a tripping-hazard.
• Keep the device, power cord and plug away from
hot surfaces, open flames and sharp edges.
• Do not place heavy objects on top of the power
cord.
• Please be sure that the power connection is easily
accessible.
• When pulling the power plug, always pull on the
plug, never on the cable.
3. Moisture and water
• Do not operate this device in wet rooms. Ensure
that no fluid or foreign objects enter into the
housing. Never place vessels containing fluids on
the unit. If any fluid should enter into the device,
immediately pull the power plug.
• Do not submerge the device, the power cord or
power plug in water or other fluids. Danger to life
by electric shock!
• Do not touch the device, the power cord or power
plug with wet or damp hands.
• Avoid from dripping or splashing.
4. Location
• Keep this device away from heat sources, e.g.
radiators or open flames. Do not place objects with
open flame, like burning candles or similar near the
device.
• Place the device only on a level and sturdy surface.
• Ensure that the device is located in a dry and dust-
free environment.
• Avoid direct sunlight.
• Do not use the device outdoors.
5. Maintenance and Care
• Pull the power plug out of the power outlet prior to
cleaning.
• Do not submerge the unit, the power cord or power
plug in water or other fluids. Danger to life by
electric shock!
• Do not use any fluids or cleaning agents. Use only
a dry, soft cloth to clean your unit.
6. ventilation
• The openings and vents located on the housing are
for ventilation purposes. Do not cover or otherwise
obstruct these openings and vents, this could lead to
overheating of your device.
• For ventilation, leave a space of at least 10 cm free
all around the set.
