Initial operation in "stand-alone mode"

The Calcium Automat 3170 is pre-mounted and
filled with hardness granulate in the works of the
manufacturer. After having fitted the holding device,
the unit can be placed in the aquarium or the
aquarium cabinet directly. Please make sure that
no granules get into the pump impeller which could
cause a blockage. In addition, at least one CO2
cylinder (article No. 7079.150), a pressure regulator
(article No. 7077/2) and a non-return valve (article
No. 7070.010) are required for the operation.
Connect the CO2 hose to the reactor (1), the bubble
counter (2), the non-return valve (3) and the CO2
unit (4) as shown in the illustration.
The bubble counter (2) should be filled three-
quarters with fresh water (5). Observe the position
of the non-return valve !
Connect the pump to the mains.
Deaerate the reactor by opening the screw cap on
the reactor; wait until the water penetrates from the
opening without bubbles; subsequently close the
screw cap again with the pump operating.
Mise en service « stand alone »
Calcium Automat 3170 est monté en usine prêt à
l'emploi et rempli en granulat de dureté. Après le
montage de ses supports, il peut directement être
mis en service dans l'aquarium ou dans une filtration
sous aquarium. Veuillez vérifier qu'aucun granulat
calcaire ne soit présent dans la turbine et ne bloque
la pompe. Pour son fonctionnement, le réacteur
nécessite une bouteille de CO2 (réf. 7079.150), un
réducteur de pression (réf. 7077/2) et un clapet anti-
retour (réf. 7070.010).
Raccordez le tuyau de CO2 sur le réacteur (1), sur
le compte-bulles (2), sur le clapet anti-retour (3) et
sur le système CO2 (4) suivant l'illustration.
Le compte-bulles (3) doit être rempli d'eau douce
à ¾ de niveau (5). Veillez à la bonne position du
clapet anti-retour !
Branchez la pompe de circulation.
Effectuez un dégazage du réacteur. Pour cela,
ouvrez le bouchon à vis en partie supérieure jusqu'à
ce que l'eau en sorte, libre de bulles d'air. Puis
refermez le couvercle, pompe toujours en service.
