2-Channel Amplifier-Functions and Controls
HI-/LOPASS
HIPASS (HighPass) - Controls the frequency response of your speakers downwards. The Cut-off frequency is
continously variable from 10Hz up to 1000Hz (1kHz).
LOPASS (LowPass) - Controls the frequency response of your speakers upwards. The Cut-off frequency is continously
variable from 30Hz up to 150Hz.X-OVER -switch is set on LP/BP-position, so HI PASS-regulator is activated as
Subsonic-Filter. Eliminates the lowest frequencies to protect the speakers from damages.
Bass EQ
Continously variable from 0dB
up to +18dB.

Protect - LED
Red LED is illuminated:
a) Overheated
b) Speaker wires shorted
c) Overload (Impedance, less Power)
d) Amplifier is damaged
Should the amplifier go into proteciont mode, simply
disconnect all RCA and speaker leads, while keeping +12 volt,
power ground and remote leads connected. Now turn the
amplifier back on, and if the PROTECT-LED lights, the
amplifier has an internal fault.
If not, plug the RCA cables back, and reset the amplifier. If it
goes into protection mode now, the fault lies in the input, either
with bad cables or source unit.
If the amplifier seems fine with RCA cables plugged in,
connect the speakers, one at a time, and if one of the
speakers or its wiring is faulty, it will activate the diagnostic
system.
