1. Switch off the power supply.
2. Remove screws from the top of the Vestamatic Markise Funk W
(awning radio control) and lift off the shell cover.
3. Mount the Vestamatic Markise Funk W (awning radio control) in a
vertical position with the cable entries pointing downward. Please
use the included screws and dowels for mounting.
4. Pass the connection wires through the entries and connect the
power mains and external connections in accordance with the
wiring diagram.
(If an additional [wired] operating button is connected, this cable
must be introduced together with the one from the wind measuring
device of the Vestamatic Markise Funk W [awning radio control].)
Attention: Currently valid VDE standards must be respected
when connecting the device, in particular DIN VDE
0100/0700, as well as the currently valid regulations
of the local electric supply company and accident
prevention regulations.
5. Switch on the power supply.
6. Programmation of the hand-held radio transmitter (see pages 26
and 27).

7. Check the rotating direction of the motor by means of the direction
keys of the hand-held radio transmitter (and of the operating button
if need be). If the rotating direction does not concur, the connec-
tions of binders 4 and 5 must be switched around.
8. Check that the wind measuring device is operational.
When mounting the wind measuring device, please be careful that it
is not sheltered by the sunshade or the building.
Important: The parallel control of several drives is only possible by
means of cutoff relays. To connect two drives, we recom-
mend our TR-2 (item 010540) or TR-2A (item 010541)
cutoff relays.
