Using EXPLORER 2 single handed:
Take your seat at the rear seat position.
Distributing weight to the rear somewhat
shortens the waterline length. To counter
balance that, you may stow accessories or
other items (i.e. water canister) below
decks at the bow.
The correct seat position:
• Take up an upright, slightly forward
pointing body posture in the boat.
• Feet are V-pointing and arranged at an
angle just over 90 degrees.
• Legs should be angled, with knees
pointing outward.

• Backrest - The push in backrest
prevents fatigue and backache. It slots
into the rear of the seat back panel
between the midship deck and seat.
• Steering appliance - enhances course
holding, and change of direction.
• Spray cover - protects against spray,
rain and cold
• Bow/stern deck bag
- this dry-bag
complete with semi watertight zip
attaches to the coaming eyelets by means
of 4 straps with hooks.
• Luggage spider - hooks into the
coaming eyelets.
• Bow/ middle storage net - fits under
bow and midship decks and attaches to
existing eyelets or carrying lines.
