7. Installation preparations

7.1 Wall

The prescribed minimum distances
betw een the w all and the ceiling
show n in the figure must be
observed.
1. Make sure the housing has a level base.
2. Fit w all breakthrough or drill core hole:
Minimum diameter, 105 mm.
Recommendation: Fit WH 100 w all
sleeve Fit w all breakthrough w ith
minimum diameter 115 mm.
Use ZM 11 mounting plate for
rectangular w all breakthroughs.
3. Lay pow er cable (recessed) up to place of
installation, see above for spacing. Feed
the pow er cable at least 110 m m out
from the w all.

7.2 Ceiling

Danger of short-circuits and
NOTICE
dam age to unit if condensation
builds up in the fan housing.
Thermally insulate ventilation
ducts in a professional manner.
Allow for a condensation drain or
condensate collector in the riser.
Perform installation preparations as
described in Chapter 6.1.

7.3 Duct

1. Debur edges on the inside of the duct.
2. Perform installation preparations as
described in Chapter 6.1.

7.4 External cover

1. Unpack the external shutter w ith external
climate sensor and remove outer piece
[11]. To release the outer piece's locking
hook, unlock ( arrow ) using a
screw driver.
Do not remove the sensor
connection cable from the external
climate sensor. It is connected to the
fan, through the duct, w hen the
housing is mounted.
Fit supplied sealing strip centred in socket.

7.5 Fan

1. Unpack unit and take off designer cover
[3]. To release the cover's locking hook,
unlock ( arrow ) using a screw driver.
2. Remove internal climate sensor [5].
