Electrical connection

After you have installed the cell protector, you can connect the solar
module via a charge controller to the battery.
Sequence of connection:
1.) Possibly install cell protector (see page 18)
2.) Cover up solar module by means of a carton
3.) Remove grounding strip from battery
4.) Connect solar charge regulator to battery/batteries
(See charge regulator manual)
5.) Connect solar module to charge regulator
6.) Check polarities once more!
7.) Connect grounding strip to battery
8.) Remove cover from module
When using a 24V system on board you either have to connect two
modules of 12V in series or you install 24V modules.

Serial connection of the solar modules
Combination with other solar modules:
SunWare solar modules can easily be combined with each other and
with solar modules from other manufacturers, if the solar modules have
at least 33 solar cells.
It is not recommended to fit additional reverse current diodes since they
can constantly cause a loss of voltage of 0.55V.
Combination with charge controllers:
Complement your SunWare solar module with a SunWare FOX-solar
charge controller for a complete solar energy system.
SunWare solar modules can also be connected to any other type of
charge controller.

Attention: The cell protector has to be fitted under deck and safe
from water!
