10. Maintenance and Cleaning

The deep-well pump has no parts that require maintenance by you. Therefore, never open or disassemble
it. Maintenance or repair and opening of the deep-well pump in this context must only be performed by a
specialist or specialist workshop.
Before maintenance, repair or cleaning, disconnect the deep-well pump from the mains voltage, switch it
of via the on/off switch (8) and then completely pull the mains plug from the mains socket.
To clean the outside of the deep-well pump, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. If required, flush the
outside with clear water.
Any contamination of intake openings may be removed under running water (e.g. garden hose). If required,
use a soft brush (e.g. a tooth brush) additionally.
Dry the deep-well pump and the mains cable before storing it.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since
these may damage the casing or even impair function.
