Lock

You may lock stations; these cannot then be called
up without inputting the password.
Use the "M CH-" and "L CH+" arrow keys to
select the station which you would like to lock.
If you want to block a channel, press the "yellow"
button on the remote control.
The selected station is marked with the symbol
„ ".
Repeat these steps for the next station which you
would like to lock.
If you want to unblock the channel, select it by
using the "M CH-" or "L CH+" arrow buttons and
press the "yellow" button again.

Shift

You can rearrange the stations to form your own
personal order.
Use the "M CH-" and "L CH+" arrow keys to
select the desired channel.
If you would like to move the station, press the
"red " button on the remote control.
The station selected will be indicated by a symbol.
Use the "M CH-" and "L CH+" arrow keys to
select the programme slot to which you would like
to move the marked station.
Press the "OK" button. The station is moved.
Repeat the above steps for the next station which
you would like to move.

Skipping channels

It is possible to "block" individual channels for scrol-
ling through with the arrow buttons "M CH-" and
"L CH+". Selection of these channels is then only
possible with the numerical buttons on the remote
control.
Use the "M CH-" and "L CH+" arrow buttons to
select the channel which you would like to skip.
Confirm your selection with the "green" button.
Repeat the process for the next station that you
want to skip.

Rename and sort

You may change the names of the channels and
sort the channels by various criteria.
Renaming channels:
Use the "M CH-" or "L CH+" arrow keys to select
the channel you wish to rename.
Press the "INFO" button on the remote control.
A keypad will be displayed on the screen.
Use the arrow keys and "OK" to select each
character for the new description.

You can use the "Caps Off" field to switch
between capital and lower-case letters.
To delete the letters already entered, select the
"Back" field and press the "OK" button.
To accept the new description, select the "OK"
field and press the "OK" button. The "Keyboard"
window goes away.
Sorting:
In the "Program" main menu, call up the "Sort"
submenu.
The following sorting options are available:
• Default
• By Service Name
• By Freq
• By Encrypt
Select the desired option and confirm with the
"OK" button.
Exit the menu by simply pressing the "EXIT"
button repeatedly.

USB connection

Via the USB connection it is possible to play back
audio, video and image files. You can also connect
a USB storage device and record on it. For more
about recording, see the chapter on "PVR Function".
This device has been developed using state-of-the-
art technical developments in the USB field.
Unfortunately, due to the huge variety of different
data carriers, which are available today, it is not
possible to ensure full compatibility with any data
carrier. For this reason there may in exceptional
cases be problems with playing back USB storage
media. Which is not considered a malfunction of
the device.
Insert the USB storage device directly into the
port provided.
In the "USB" main menu, call up the "Multimedia"
submenu.
In the "Multimedia" submenu, choose between the
following options:
• Music
• Photo
• Movie
• PVR (see "PVR (recording menu)")
Only the selected file types are displayed.
Press "OK".
Select the file that you want to play/display using
the "M CH-", "L CH+" arrow buttons.
Press "OK".
Please note the messages at the bottom edge of the
screen for further instructions.
