2.41 Löschkopf und Dia-Pilot-Kopf
(siehe Abb. 15)
Löschkopf und Dia-Pilot-Kopf sitzen gemein-
sam auf einer Montageplatte. Bei beiden Köp-
fen ist die senkrechte Stellung der Kopfspalte
zu den Tonbandkanten unkritisch. Wichtig ist
die richtige Höheneinstellung. Beim Vierspur-
kopfträger muß die Spaltoberkante des
Löschkopfes mit der Bandoberkante ab-
schließen. Beim Zweispurkopfträger müssen
die Spaltkanten des Löschkopfes oben und
unten gleich weit über die Bandkanten her-
ausragen. Die Höhenverstellung des Lösch-
kopfes erfolgt mit den Schrauben (K) und (L).
Durch gleichmäßiges Drehen beider Schrau-
ben wird eine Schrägstellung der Stirnflä-
chen vermieden. - Der Dia-Pilot-Kopf ist bei
beiden Ausführungen so zu justieren, daß
der Kopfspalt mit der Bandunterkante ab-
schließt. Die Höhenverstellung des Dia-Pilot-
kopfes erfolgt mit der Schraube (M).
2.42 Wiedergabekopf (siehe Abb. 15)
Zur Einstellung des Wiedergabekopfes ist
das dem Gerätetyp entsprechende UHER-
Zweispur- oder UHER-Vierspur-Justierband
zu verwenden.
NF-Voltmeter (Ri > 10 MOhm) an die Kon-
takte 3 und 2 (2 - Masse) der Buchse
., Radio/Phono' anschließen. UHER-Justier-
band auflegen und einmal vor- und zurück-
spulen. Gerät auf Wiedergabe schalten.
Wiedergabekopf durch Drehen der Schrau-
ben (Q) und (R) auf die erforderliche Höhe
einstellen. Hierbei ist die jedem Justierband
beiliegende Anweisung zu beachten. Ein
Neigen des Kopfes nach vorne oder hinten
i st durch Drehen
gleichmäßiges
Schrauben zu vermeiden. Durch Drehen der
Schraube (S) wird die maximale Ausgangs-
spannung des Justiertones am NF-Voltmeter
(Ri >_ 10 M4) eingestellt. Damit ist die Senk-
rechtstellung des Wiedergabekopfes erreicht.

2.41 Erase Head and Dia-Pilot Head
(säe Fig. 15)
The erase head and the Dia-Pilot-Head are
mounted an ä common panel. The azimuth
adjustment of both heads is not critical.
Proper height adjustment, however, is im-
portant. In 4-track sound heads the upper en d
of the erase head gap must be flush with
the upper edge of the tape. In 2-track sound
heads, the head gaps must project equally
beyond the edges of the tape. The height
adjustment of the erase head is performed
by means of the screws (K) and (L). Turning
the two screws simultaneously and by the
same amounts, will avoid tilting of the head
faces. In both recorder versions the Dia-
Pilot-Head must be adjusted in such a man-
ner that its gap is flush with the lower edge
of the tape. Height adjustment of the Dia-
Pilot-Head is performed by means of the
screw (M).
2.42 Playback Head (säe Fig. 15)
The playback head has to be aligned with the
aid of the UHER Two-Track Test Tape or the
UHER Four-Track Test Tape, as the case
may be.
Connect LF voltmeter (Zi
tacts 3 and 2 (2 = chassis) of the "Radio/
Phono" socket. Thread the UHER Test Tape,
wind and rewind the entire length of the
tape and sät the recorder for playback.
Adjust for proper height of the playback
head by turning the screws (Q) and (R).
Follow the instructions supplied with the
Tape. Turning

simultaneously and by the same amounts
beider will avoid tilting of the head toward the
front or back of the recorder. Adjust for
maximum output voltage of the test signal
to be read an the LF voltmeter (Zi ' 10 MOhm)
by turning the screw (S). This completes
proper azimuth alignment of the playback
head,

2.41 Töte d'effacement et täte de commande
du Dia-Pilot (voir fig. 15)
La töte d'effacement et la täte de commande
du Dia-Pilot sont montees sur une platine
commune. La position verticale de leur
entrefer par rapport aux aretes de la bande
magnätique n'est pas critique. Leur reglage
en hauteur correct äst par contre tres im-
portant. Dans la version =quatre pistesr de
I ' unite des tätes magnötiques, I'arete supö-
rieure de I'entrefer de la täte d'effacement
doit se trouver au möme niveau que I'aröte
superieure de la bande magnetique. Dans la
version -bipiste», lös arötes supörieure et in-
ferieure de I'entrefer de la täte d'effacement
doivent avoir la möme tote de depassement
par rapport aux arätes superieure et infö-
rieure de la bande. Le reglage en hauteur de
l a täte d'effacement s'opere ä I'aide des vis
(K) et (L). Un serrage au desserrage uni-
forme des deux vis evite I'inclinaison en
avant au en arriere de la täte.
Dans la version •quatre pistes>. au -bipiste•
de I'unitä des tätes magndtiques, la täte de
commande du Dia-Pilot doit ötre ajustöe de
maniere que I'aröte införieure de son entrefer
se trouve au meine niveau que I'aröte infe-
rieure de la bande magn(ätique. Le reglage
en hauteur s'effectue ä I'aide de la vis (M).
2.42 Töte de lecture %voir fig. 15)
Pour Ie reglage de la töte de lecture, utiliser
l a bande d'ajustage UHER ä deux pistes
(pour la version •bipiste-) au ä quatre pistes
(pour la version •quatre pisse»).
Brancher un voltmetee BF (Ri >
- 10 MOhm) to con-
sur lös bornes 3 et 2 (2 = masse) de la
prise

fois en avant et en arriäre. Enclencher le
magnetophone en regime -Reproductions.
Donner ä la täte de lecture sa hauteur
