The differences between this product and the standard LH51 are described below. Refer to the LH51 instruction
manual for all other points.
Differences from the standard LH51
(1) The Digiruler scale is attached to the round measurement object, measures the movement amount of the
measurement object, and then displays the angle on this display unit.
(2) The angle is displayed at the display position of the respective axis. (Angle display is possible for all
axes.)
(3) The LH51-1T01, LH51-2T01 and LH51-3T04 can support arcs with different radii by setting to the
radius used for attaching the scale. (The range of compatible radii is from 60 mm to 9999 mm.)
(4) The display resolution can be set from 1 second to 10 minutes when the degree/minute/second display
is used.
(5) The angle display range is _359.59.59 to +359.59.59. (If the angle exceeds ± 359.59.59, the display
shows ± 0.00.00.)
(6) The angle value can be preset as the INC value or the ABS value.
(7) Pressing the RESET key will reset the angle value to 0.
(8) The following functions are not included: Linear Compensation, Zero Point, Touch Sensor, Bolt Hole
Circle, and Simple R Cutting.
Angle Setting Procedures
1. Radius Setting
This procedure is used to set the radius used for attaching the scale. (This example describes the case when
a radius setting of 63 mm is used. The radius can be set from 60 mm to 9999 mm.)
1. Set the power switch to ON while holding down the X-axis RESET key.
2. Press the X key three times.
3. Check that the display appears as shown below.
r=2062 (the initial radius setting is 2062 mm)
4. Press the 6 and 3 keys.
5. Check that the display appears as shown below.
r=_ _63
6. Press the P key.
7. Check that the display appears as shown below.
r=63
8. Press the RESET key.
Perform the same setting procedure for the Y and Z axes.
