Calculating the correction factor

Two different ways are described below to eliminate the existing deviation of a meter.
The reference quantity ("quantity dispensed") should always be measured with an
appropriate measuring device.
• Approved piston or bell prover
• Approved gravimetric method

Example:
Quantity dispensed: 5,000 liters

11.2 Recalculation of an existing correction factor
Example:
Quantity dispensed: 5,000 litres
Quantity displayed:
Correction factor k:
The existing correction factor would be for example: 0,9960
Calculation: 0,9960 x 1,003 = 0,9989
The new correction factor is 0,9989.
