• Only use firelighters that comply with European norm EN 1860-3
relating to igniting solid fuels in outdoor barbecues.
• Never use water to control the flames or to extinguish the charcoal.
• NOTE! The briquettes/charcoal must always be placed on the
charcoal grate in the bottom of the barbecue. Otherwise there is a
risk the barbecue will be damaged.
• NOTE! The maximum amount of charcoal and briquettes to be used
at once is 2 kg. Otherwise the BBQ may be damaged.
• Never dispose of the briquettes/charcoal before you are sure they are
extinguished.
• Let the barbecue cool before cleaning it.
• Use oven mitts and barbecue utensils to avoid burns when grilling.
• The barbecue is only intended for making food. Never use the
barbecue for purposes other than for which it is intended, for
example, as a heat source or for heating objects.
• The barbecue may only be used with an approved regulator kit.
• The barbecue is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or who have limited
experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed in
using the barbecue by someone responsible for their safety.
• Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the
barbecue.
• The barbecue and gas cylinder must be connected to a CE-approved
regulator and hose with correct operating gas pressure.
• Using an improper regulator or hose is dangerous and can lead to
personal injury.
• The hose must be a maximum of 1.5 m long.
• Worn or damaged hosesmust be replaced.
• The hose and regulator must be tested for leaks before starting grilling.
• See the section CHECKING FOR LEAKS.
• Worn or damaged hoses must be replaced immediately.
• We recommend replacing the hose every other year.
