4.1 The Menu
The Menu essentially provides a list of all Powerline Ethernet devices logically connected to the computer where the
utility is running.
The GigleTool menu sits on top of the GigleTool window. An example is shown in Figure 3, "The Menu".

File The This menu contains items to save the events viewer's content into a text file and to quit from GigleTool .
Adaptor This menu contains items to execute actions related to an adapter: authenticate, upgrade, change
nickname, change network, restart, factory reset, view bridge table.
Tools This menu contains items to go to specific tools like Event Viewer, Channel Monitor, Connection Viewer or
Global Link Viewer.
Settings This menu contains items to set your preferences.
Help This menu contains items to help the user, like access to some basic help, manual pages, and the usual about
dialog.
Each of these menu items is described in more detail in the sections that follow.
